My fiancé and I are having a Civil War Themed Wedding in May 2002. I searched and searched over the Internet for the perfect headpiece/veil which would coordinate with the Civil War time period. I had done extensive research on the subject of "Planning the Mid-19th Century Wedding" (Civil War Time Period) and had even obtained a publication with pictures, as to what kind of dress, headpiece/veil and accessories I would need. Little did I know that when I chanced upon White Dove Bridal, would I find the perfect headpiece/veil.  Actually the headpiece/veil that is in the publication is identical to what I received from White Dove Bridal.

I contacted Ed directly via telephone and advised as to exactly what I was looking for.  Within minutes, lo and behold the perfect headpiece came to me via e-mail! Just by the description of what I was looking for, he was able to find the perfect headpiece (V670) and helped add the finishing touches, such as the length of veil and edging.  The headpiece has ivory pearls in it, so I chose the pearl edging. The price was unbelievable and delivery was as promised.  The selections offered at White Dove Bridal are endless.

I stand in awe each day and look at my headpiece/veil, which is on top of a chair and will stay there until I wear it on my wedding day. I can hardly wait to wear it.

2-tiered, ivory veil with satin ribbon on the edge. I have to admit, I was a bit worried when I ordered it (probably like so many others), but I was so pleased with the product when I saw it!  The price, of course, was wonderful, and I've been recommending your site to women I come in contact with who do "hair."  I was really surprised when I opened the package and saw that the comb I asked the veil be affixed to was a NICE metal comb and not some cheap flimsy one. I recently received my daughters veil in the mail.  It is gorgeous, even prettier than I imagined it would be.  Your website is awesome.  You have a terrific selection at very reasonable prices.  I shopped around my area and could find nothing comparable to choices you provided on your website.  Each picture was very well detailed and it was hard to pick from such a large selection. The delivery process went well and I could track the package once it had been sent. When I first begin searching for a bridal gown & veil I was very discouraged. The only gown and veil I wanted were at a bridal shop where the salespeople were rude and unhelpful.  I eventually bypassed them and bought the gown directly from the designer but I still needed the veil.  I looked all over town with no luck.  I refused to spend a penny in that particular shop. I felt helpless. I decided to try to get the veil from the designer as well, but when I called the store for information, they said they didn't know who made the veil nor could they give me any other info on it.  I didn't believe that, so I decided to beat them at their own game.  I went to their website where I found a list naming all of the veil designers that they sold in their store (go figure).  With this info I hit the internet and searched each site until I finally FOUND MY VEIL!  Once I had the info I needed I just started searching and that eventually led me to your wonderful site.  Not only did I find my veil with no problems, but I found it for ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS LESS than they were selling it in that nasty store! You better believe I told all my friends (and the store manager) what a great deal I had found.  Please post my letter so that other bride-to-be's can know that they never should settle for less than excellent service because there are plenty of other options out there!  Thanks for providing such a wonderful service!

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to write, but I was traveling.  Nevertheless, while being away I was counting the days till the 24th of August, when my order was supposed to arrive.  I was thrilled to find my tiara and veil when I got back from my trip.  I was told it arrived exactly on the estimated date you had given me, after advising it was out of stock and would take a little longer. I absolutely loved it.  I have to say that I was a little nervous when I ordered it, because I've always thought that it's not the same to see something in person and have a chance to try it on, than to seeing it in a picture.  All my fears were laid to rest when I saw the tiara.  It's even MORE beautiful than the picture!

I can't thank you enough for your diligence in finding my headpiece. I was really leery about ordering from the internet for something as important as my headpiece, but when I received it, I truly cried and had to call you. Thank you for your compassion on the phone in trying to help me and always taking away my worries whenever I phoned you to ask for an update. You always knew who I was, what the status of my order was, & I didn't have to be transferred 10 different times to get a straight answer.

When I found the headpiece on your website, I took the picture to many local bridal stores and they couldn't believe the price for such a detailed headpiece. Out of 7 stores, no one could find me the headpiece or even come close to your price.

My headpiece isn't the usual tiaras that brides are wearing now, I had to find something to compliment my face and work with the hair I have left. I lost some of my hair when the doctors put me on steroids and I thought I would be better off with a bag over my head. I am very self conscious of my hair loss, but I when I received the headpiece, I realized I don't have to worry about my hair, and I will feel beautiful in it. I am so detailed oriented that it was difficult for me to believe that I could actually be happy with something that I could not "examine" before I bought it. I was so wrong. My headpiece (VC8646 - Ivory) is absolutely beautiful...more so than I had even expected.
